FLOW Snowboarding

Lago honored in Hollywood
Beverly Hills, CA; May 3rd 2007- The 2007 "30 Under 30 Awards" recognized 30 outstanding young leaders from film, fashion, music, politics and sports. Described as 30 of the sharpest, sexiest, most successful individuals under the age of 30, this years honorees included Flow's Team rider Scotty Lago, Grammy winning artist Chamillionaire, tennis-pro Lera Solovieva, recording star Andrew McMahon, actor Ben Crowley, actress Sarah Foret, creative designer Asher Ross, model Jojo Holland, Paulie Litt, Danica Patrick, Joshua LeBar, Ace Young, Julian Medina, Christina Ricci and Christian Johnston.

At first glance the sight of grungy snowboarder's checking into the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel and ready to hit the awards banquet was like seeing a polar bear in the desert. Being stopped several times by onlookers making comments about the obvious lack of snow in the Hollywood Hills was hilarious. The Flow crew was on a different mission this time, in the name of charity to donate Scotty Lago's signature board signed by the honorees in attendance to be auctioned off at a later date to benefit the City of Hope, a non-profit organization that funds cutting edge research to find cures for cancer. In their "best" Red Carpet attire, Guest of Honor Scotty Lago along with Flow Team manager Andrew Mutty and a few other Flow employees jumped into a cab and headed to the Camden House of Beverly Hills where the event was taking place. In the end the event was a success, Scotty schmoozed with the Hollywood scene, and no one was arrested for being too rowdy back at the hotel.

The annual awards official partners to the event were Flow Snowboarding, Tommy Bahama Rum, Spa Angels, Joico, Xtreme Lashes, Culture & Propaganda Clothing, Prissy Girl Boutique, Fairytale Brownies, Varnish Nails, Goka Designs, Vera Bradley, Poleci Clothing, Indie Appeal, Script magazine, Fileena Jewelry, Annatarian Eco-Couture and The Camden House of Beverly Hills. Organizer of the event Christina Martin commented, "Each day is a gift and the 30 honorees recognized last night exemplify what can be achieved when the potential of the time we are given is fully realized."
